Rancho Rodriguez is proud of our hand forged Mexican bits. These are made in centuries old style called Pavonado Negro, translatable to oxidized stainless steel. Our bits are completely handmade and high-quality craftsmanship. Our designs are unprecedented in bit making to the American market…they are beautiful!

Oxidized stainless steel is a process given that allows the engraving on the cheeks to remain “silver like” and will not rust. The oxidized or black cheeks will not rust because they were oxidized already in a process which turns the color black. The only rusting will be the mouthpiece. These are balanced and have a body of weight to them.
