This is a very unique combination of hinged cheeks on a solid mouth with a "sapo" (frog) port. In English it is commonly referred to as the "frog" mouthpiece and that stems from the Spanish name "sapo" as it is actually called, which literally means frog. As a hinged port it has the ability to help push or create lateral movement while pushing on the horses mouth. It is a short 7" cheek with pure silver inlays in a Chevron pattern. This is a very unique bit and something that will not be found that often. Made in Mexico.
