Rawhide "Cuarta" or Quirt in English (also called "chicotas" in Spanish) made of pure untreated rawhide that still has some hairs on it. These are what we call "faena" style meaning they are rustic "ranchy" style finish. The rawhide is soft and supple not like the yellowish hard type that is treated. Very unique and commonly used in Mexico on every ranch saddle.
